On 18th October 2009, it was registration day for the third intake of Graduate Employability of Management Scheme or widely known as GEMS programme. It had been held at Suria Resort Merang, Terengganu. It was very pleasant day for the participants to be one of members of this great programme. Most of the participants came from the East Coast which was from Terengganu, Kelantan and Pahang. However, there were also other participants from other states such as from Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Kedah, fly over from Sabah and so on. They were accompanied with their beloved parents and families as well.

The registration started at 2.00pm until 5.00pm and it was organized and helped by secretariats from Career Xcell Sdn Bhd and GEMS programme. All the participants were given a folder to each of them which contained a few forms, programme schedule and participant’s programme manual to let them know a little bit of the contents in the GEMS programme. On the other hand, while the participants busied moved from a counter to another counters to complete the registration, their parents were enjoyed by a short talk or briefing about what actually the GEMS programme was all about. So that, their parents should got some ideas and do not have to worry a lot on their children.

Then, the induction and ice breaking session were started at 8.30pm. The participants were given a briefing regarding the rules and regulation of the GEMS programme and as well as the rules of Suria Resort Merang. Really great to know all the kindly GEMS secretariats who lead by Mr Shahirudin Mohamad as the Project Manager for SRM03 or Suria Resort Merang intake 3 and Mr Azman Bin Ibrahim as the site manager. Beside that, all the participants were given chances to know each other and made a lot of buddies. They looked so happy and so motivated during that session. Hopefully all of participants will always be in high spirit for been here and grab as much as opportunities to learn as much as possible in order to move to better life later on..(^_^)
