From 17th May until 20th May 2009, all GEMS participants had attended two modules, which are Professional Grooming and Problem Solving. From these modules, all GEMS participants had gained knowledge in how to groom and dress up the corporate way and solve problems encountered in work and life using specific methods.
During the first two days AGROGEN, CYBER SPORT, CRYSTAL EYE and RAFFLESIA attended the Professional Grooming module while FIVE STAR, SMEG and SKY attended the Problem Solving module. Problem Solving module covered six steps on how to solve problems by using problem solving tools such as Pareto chart, Why-why analysis and others. Meanwhile, the Professional Grooming module covered four main sub-modules such as professional social etiquette, table manner and others.
There were four trainers who conducted the Professional Grooming module, Pn. Nurazlin, Pn. Suzaimah, Pn. Rosfazilah and Pn. Noor Husna. For the Problem Solving module, there were also four trainers, En. Jamil, En. Ishar, En. Azhari and Dr. Marzuki.
